In February, we were able to take the Kids to the Draper Temple Open House. What an awesome experience that these kids would remember. It's not very often that anyone that does not have a recommend, gets this experience. So we thought this would be a great thing. On the way to Salt Lake Kaeli was throwing a fit she had a bad dream the night before and she just kept saying"don't leave me at church" and "No go to the Temple" and just crying she was scared we would leave her there. As soon as we got off the bus and was walking down the tents they had for the entrance she just quit and the kids were so excited. They were so amazed, we didn't say much about the temple before we went, just how exciting it was for them to be able to see the inside. When we were through with our tour, you went through tents to go to a Church close by. Brittany, Ashleigh and Connor said they wanted to go back into the Temple, because the Spirit was so strong and they could feel the difference when we walked out of the Temple and through the tents to the Church house. Alyssa and Kaeli was thrilled about the Diamond Lights (Huge Chandeliers) that looked like diamonds shining. "Oh so pretty" Since then Kaeli has to know where the Logan Temple is every time we get in the car. Which is nice since you can see it from almost anywhere. But when buildings or trees are in the way she wants you to move so she can see it.
